Traditional Christmas Parade with marching bands, floats, local queens, firetrucks, scouting groups and special interest units. The special guest of honor, Santa himself, appears at the end of the parade riding in Waynesburg Franklin Twp. Volunteer Fire Companies 1925 American LaFrance Fire Engine. Underwritten by First Energy Foundation ad organized by the Greene County Chamber of Commerce, the parade averages 100 units each year. Live broadcast commentary by local radio personality “Crazy Dougie Wilson” is provided as units pass the historic Greene County Court House in downtown Waynesburg, PA . The parade route begins at the intersection of Richhill and High Streets and proceeds to the intersection of High and Cumberland Streets.
